Kimberly Parker
Kimberly is a wife and a mother of 3 children; ages 9, 7 and 5. Her oldest son, Cooper, has autism. She is the President of Red Giraffe Marketing (based in Kelowna, BC) that she runs with her husband, and provides copywriting services to businesses across North America and abroad.
Kimberly attended The Pennsylvania State University on a full athletic scholarship for gymnastics, where she was an All-American. She trained as an elite-level gymnast throughout her childhood and was the first gymnast to win the state championships in Texas for all of her high school years.
Kimberly began writing short stories and plays when she was 8 years old. In her early business career, she wrote sales training curriculum for major global organizations. She wrote and delivered workshops at Christian conferences while employed by R.G. Mitchell as the Gospel Light Sales & Marketing representative.
She currently blogs about autism, business, family life and faith at www.SimplyCreativeWriting.com. She also is a contributing writer to The Maranatha Newspaper, Canada’s Christian Newspaper and Main Street Kelowna Magazine. Kimberly enjoys using her skills to save the world from bad copywriting.
Kimberly brings her many life experiences as a mom, a business owner, an athlete and a ministry leader to her writing in a simple, humorous and God-focused way. She has written some children’s books and a book about parenting, faith and autism – she is seeking a publishing partner for these works.
